Donegal Abbey Private Equity announced today that it has provided $58 million in construction financing for the redevelopment of a 500-key Marriott-branded resort and spa located on Buena Vista Dr in Kissimmee, Florida.
The financing was completed in collaboration with Norwich Hotel Development LLC, based in New York, who are leading the development of the project.
The full-service resort will feature expansive spa and wellness facilities, multiple dining concepts, and extensive leisure amenities designed to capture strong tourism demand generated by the propertys proximity to Orlandos world-class attractions.
This transaction underscores our commitment to supporting high-quality hospitality projects in premier U.S. destinations, said Brendon Lyden, Chief Investment Officer at Donegal Abbey Private Equity Group. Working alongside Norwich Hotel Development LLC, we are confident this Marriott-branded resort will become a flagship property in Central Florida.
The construction is scheduled to be complete in 2026, reinforcing the regions status as one of the nations most dynamic leisure and hospitality markets.
