This investment, comprising six Scania P420 32-tonne and two Scania P320 26-tonne trucks, is the latest in a series of delivery fleet upgrades, bringing the companys total investment in Scania products to over £5 million.
The new trucks are equipped with state-of-the-art bodies from vehicle body builders PPS Commercials, offering the latest access specifications to meet the evolving needs of AFIs diverse customer base. The addition of fold-forward ramps, designed to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, underscores AFIs commitment to sustainability. Other safety enhancements include edge fall protection, side walkways, and advanced safety lighting.
